About NSSA
A quick overview of the transition from NSSA to National Screening Agency
Accredited, regulated & certified
NSSA history
NSSA (National Security Screening Agency) was formed from the security screening divisions of Hantec Systems, External Quality Management Ltd and Sanctis. At the time it was the only organisation in the UK to hold NSI Gold certification for security screening and SSAIB Approval for security screening. The organisation was dedicated entirely to security screening to BS7858 and the associated tasks such as DBS disclosures, personnel credit checks, identity card production etc.
Growth
in 2012 NSSA merged with Veriteq Systems as NSA Group Ltd and now trades as National Screening Agency, a reflection of its expanded remit to offer employment screening services beyond the Security Sector, such as Healthcare, Education and Professional Services.
